The European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) is the leading voice of the European heat pump sector, representing more than 230 members in 32 countries. EHPA’s mission is to drive the decarbonisation of buildings and industry in Europe by promoting the uptake of efficient heat pump technologies, including high-temperature heat pumps, which are vital for industrial applications and large-scale heating systems.

EHPA advocates at the European level for policy measures that accelerate the deployment of heat pumps, supports innovation and quality assurance through certification schemes, and provides up-to-date data and market intelligence. The association organises high-level events, manages EU projects, and connects members with EU policymakers to ensure heat pumps play a central role in Europe’s energy transition.

Members include heat pump and component manufacturers, research institutes, universities, testing laboratories, and energy agencies. All EHPA activities are aimed at developing the European heat pump market for heating, cooling, and hot water production in a more sustainable and competitive way.
